Patricia Callaghan

MFTAI MIACP

Patricia Callaghan is an accredited Systemic Psychotherapist with a Masters in Psychotherapy (qualified in 2015) and is a registered member of both the FTAI and IACP. She offers a warm, collaborative, and non-judgemental space where individuals, couples, and families can explore challenges, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful change.

Specialising in systemic family therapy, Patricia helps clients understand their difficulties within the context of their relationships, supporting healthier communication, deeper understanding, and more positive patterns of interaction.

Patricia is also trained in Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). These approaches allow clients to work gently and effectively with their emotional world—whether by transforming painful feelings (EFT) or exploring inner “parts” with compassion to access a clearer, more grounded sense of Self (IFS).

She works with people of all ages and life stages, including individuals, couples, families, and employees through Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP). Clients often value Patricia’s calm presence, her relational approach, and the depth of insight she brings from many years in senior executive roles across academia, the voluntary sector, and management.
