Schema Therapy
Schema Therapy is an integrative approach that combines elements of cognitive, behavioural, and psychodynamic therapies to help people identify and change long-standing patterns — or “schemas” — formed in childhood.
These schemas influence how we think, feel, and relate to others, often leading to repeated emotional struggles or unhelpful coping behaviours.
Psychotherapy using Schema Therapy focuses on understanding unmet emotional needs, healing the origins of distress, and building healthier ways of responding.
Through insight, emotional processing, and behavioural change, clients can develop a stronger sense of self, improved relationships, and a more fulfilling, balanced life.
